These pieces were published in 1905, as shown by a review of the pieces in the 3 - 10 July 1905 issue of the Russian Musical Gazette. There is no opus number included on the scores, but it is given Opus number 7 on a list of opus numbers compiled by the de Hartmanns.

It is uncertain when these pieces were composed, so they can be best attributed to the early 20th century.
